"PlanetUm" Science Center

PlanetUm Science Center at Burgas Sea Station offers interactive experiments, STEM activities, science installations, and a planetarium.
The PlanetUm Science Center, located in the Burgas Sea Station building, offers an engaging educational experience for children, families, and science enthusiasts. The center explores physics, energy, ecology, technology, and topics related to seafaring and discovery through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. The exhibition features 20 educational installations divided into 'Energy', 'Discovery', and 'Innovation' zones. Visitors can experiment, learn about the marine depths, navigation, energy sources, and technological breakthroughs. The installations transform scientific principles into an accessible and fun experience. Part of the complex is also the Planetarium, with an 8-meter projection dome, 50 seats, and equipment for 3D visualizations on astronomy and space topics. There is also a specially designated children's corner for the youngest visitors. PlanetUm is a suitable place for family visits, school groups, and anyone who wants to engage with science in an interactive and captivating way.
