"The Wall of Birds" is an impressive mural on Demokratsiya Blvd. in Burgas, dedicated to the biodiversity and rich birdlife of the Burgas Lakes. The large-scale artwork is located near the Third Polyclinic and transforms the urban environment into an open-air gallery. The center of the composition features impressively sized Dalmatian pelicans against the backdrop of Lake Atanasovsko. The mural carries an ecological message – to draw attention to the birds, wetlands, and the need to protect the natural wealth around Burgas. The project was created by artists Daniel Dubarov and Nikolay Dimitrov, with the support of the Burgas Municipality and the idea of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation. "The Wall of Birds" is an interesting stop for lovers of street art, photography, and nature. It showcases a characteristic part of Burgas's biodiversity and reminds us of the importance of the local lakes as a habitat for numerous bird species.
